Loved the peaceful atmosphere and special decoration of the hotel. The American-style bar was the cherry on top. Informative staff, airport transfer, and safety features added convenience to my stay.
Who needs natural light to read anyway? The dim lighting in the room was perfect for pretending I was at a vampire convention.

The loction of the hotel is very conveneient for the tramway, so travel around Istanbul was easy. The breakfast was excellent. Staff ready to help in any way they can. We would definitely go back.
For anyone not wanting to use the tramway, the location (in Aksaray area) is quite a long way from most city attractions.

Very good, clean rooms, fantastic breakfast, good WLAN connection for the laptop, nice staff, near the hotel are good cheap restaurants with many local istanbul people , not so many tourists like in Sulthanamet. It`s no problem to drive from the airport (Atatürk) to the hotel by tram (45 minutes), next tram-station only 200m.To Sulthanamet by tram only 5 minutes.

Decent hotel, clean, staff friendly and helpful, good location near tram and metro, and near old city. Food not too bad.
Rooms a little small.

Very helpful staff at the reception, perfect location to go via tram into old and new town, very close to the basars and shopping facilities. Good continental breakfast.
Its a little crowded during breakfast times due to the location of the food. Orange juice was not so tasty.

very comfortable, clean and stylish hotel; rooms are small but super neat -- you rarely get modern/futuristic style interiors these days -- and this hotel is very nice exclusion; within walking distance to aksaray metro station (easy to get to and from ataturk airport), short walking distance to tram stop -- and it's only 3 tram stops to the very center of sultanahmet -- can as well walk there or down to marble sea; breakfast is superb; wifi in the room is quite fast; we really liked staying in this hotel
the only 2 minuses are relative cost-ineffectiveness and the fact that the district laleli where the hotel is located is a heart of tureky-russian chelnok trading with lots of small noname jeans/khalat shops around; but for short fun trips to istanbul, when you are not going to stay for to many nights, and when you are not going to stay around the hotel in laleli anyway - - polatdemir is superb choice

We loved the convenient location of the hotel, close to the metro station for easy access to this city's core tourist locations, historic sites, and Aksaray station. The breakfast provided was satisfying, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Can't fault the property in any way.
